I had a fantastic hour up at Brimham Rocks near Pateley Bridge last weekend. Well after closing time, around midnight. It had been a gloomy foggy day but amazingly cleared about 11pm and showed off lots of stars.
Made more use of the new Samyang 14mm at its widest f2.8 setting and some long 30 second exposures.
Also my first dabblings in light painting using my Alpkit headtorch to quickly illuminate some of the foreground rocks during the long exposures. Quite pleased with the results.
